On Sunday, November 30th Karen and I traveled "26 miles across the sea" to celebrate with the staff, family, guests and our dear friends Susie Griffin and Marlene McAdam the end of their 30 year run as the Innkeepers of The Inn on Mt. Ada in Avalon, on Catalina Island, California. Although the Inn will continue to operate without them, the bones will be there but, the heart that they provided will not. Thank you for all the wonderful memories and great times. Enjoy your retirement without looking out for your guests needs. We hope to see you soon as our guests.
