I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Jill and Kelly Flickinger on August 9^th. The ceremony took place at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church with the reception at the Marriott Hotel and Spa, both in Newport Beach, California.

Because the bride and groom live out of the area, I was hired by the father of the groom. Here is what he had to say a few days after the wedding.

"Doug,

I just wanted to thank you for the exceptional job you did.  I haven't seen a photo yet but I know they'll be great.  You were great with the families, the wedding party, the newlyweds, everyone.  You were here, there and everywhere but never intrusive.  You were always courteous and very professional.   I hope I have the opportunity to recommend your services one day.

25 years ago three "kids" comissioned me to produce a portrait of them on the beach to give to their parents as an 25th Anniversary gift. This month I was comissioned by their parents to produce a portrait of them with their "kids" and families to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. It was great to see the kids all grown up, meet their families and work with them again to document another family milestone. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs Cosgrove on their 50th Anniversary.
