We had a chance to listen to my favorite string band Fruition play a great set went they stopped at the Mint in Los Angeles as a part of their March 2013 West Coast tour.

Family and friends attended "our" premiere party on Monday, March 4th, in Redlands, California, for the new National Geographic show, Are You Tougher Tan a Boy Scout? which features my cousin's son, Rio Gifford.

Hundreds of Boy Scouts from across the country auditioned and only 12 were chosen. Rio is one of the few Scouts that appears in every episode.

"Are You Tougher Than a Boy Scout? is an exciting yet moving, reality competition series wherein 6 elite Boy Scouts will compete against different adult men in a variety of scout-based challenges.
