Segerstrom Center for the Arts, Education Departments, Summer at the Center has been designed to empower at-risk high school students through active participation in a rigorous two-week program of musical theatre classes conducted by professional artists. I created the head shots, group and candid images of the rehearsal for this years cast.

On Saturday, July 18th I started my day in foul weather gear, dodging rain drops, lighting and salt water as we chased down and photographed the yachts in the 3rd start of the 2015 Transpac Yacht Race in the ocean off San Pedro, California.
 

Back on shore I peeled off my foulies, downloaded the files, did a quick edit, upload selects to the editor, showered, put my suit and tie on and drove to downtown LA for a event at 6pm honoring the great civil rights attorney, Fred D. Gray. 
 

Once home, I unloaded the car, peeled off my suit and tie, poured a glass of wine, downloaded the files, ftp them to the client, showered and slept soundly.
 

Just another day in the life of a freelance photographer!
